Venue: Balne Moor.-On the M62 take the exit at Jct.34 turning towards Doncaster on the A19. Continue through the village of Whitley, 300 yds. after leaving the village, turn left at the crossroads onto the unnamed road signposted for Balne, Pollington and Snaith. Continue along this road for approx.1 mile and watch out for the railway over bridge. The pond is in the first field on the right after the bridge, however, because of the roadside vegetation, the entrance is not readily visible so as you come under the bridge, indicate right and begin to slow down. The entrance to the field is gated and may be closed. |

The lake has parking nearby on Gautby Road and has a brick club house and toilet facilities which are shared with the Model Yacht section of the club and are available on regatta days. There are shops nearby. The lake is 560ft. long by 150ft. wide and 28 inches deep. ( Map ref.SJ293903). Nearest motorway junction M53 Jct. Follow A554 to Birkenhead. At first roundabout adjacent to Tesco Superstore take 2nd. exit left into Hoylake Road then turn down 2nd. road on left into Gautby Road. The lake is on the left prior to the bend in the road. |

Go to next traffic lights, go straight through, get into left hand lane and follow bend round to left through lights. Go under railway bridge, take the third left into Moscow Mill St. Go about 300yds. turn right into Pickup St. and into mill yard. Parking alongside lake. Refreshments and toilets inside the mills. Queens Park Lake, Queens Park Road, Blackburn. Disabled parking at pondside, other parking nearby, refreshments on regatta days, toilets, shelter, shops nearby. From M62/66 - follow Blackburn South, turn onto B6232, go about 4 miles to traffic lights, straight on to mini-roundabout, turn right into Shadsworth Road. At the third mini-roundabout turn left into North Road .* Follow the road round a tight right hand bend, take the next left then left again to the top of the road, the park is in front of you. From the M6 - follow the road to Blackburn, at the Moat House Hotel turn left on to the A6119. Follow the M65 signs round ring road . Caution speed cameras on ring road! At the M65 roundabout take the fourth exit left. Go on to next roundabout, MacDonalds and Red Lion Pub are on the left. Follow road to traffic lights, go straight on at traffic lights into Shadsworth Road, carry on up the hill to second mini-roundabout, turn right into North Road, then as above from *. |

Other Information: The club membership is very much into steam power, three or four members being leading lights on the subject. Meetings are held on the first Friday of each month from September to March in the Lewisham area. |

Venue: No 2 Reservoir, Middleton St. George Water Park. The club sails on the first of three lakes behind the village community centre. Middleton St. George is signposted off the A67 Darlington to Yarm. Access is also possible from the main A66 Darlington to Teesside via Sadburge. The community centre/lake access road is about halfway through the village. The clubhouse by the access steps to the lake has 2 toilets (inc. disabled), heating and refreshments are available. Parking is adjacent. |
Other information: The club sails on Sunday mornings and Wednesday afternoons and evenings. Regular Steering and sailing regattas are held. Annual membership is £20.00 for Adults, £5.00 for Juniors which includes third party insurance cover. Access to the water is via uneven steps up and down a bank. Disabled access is difficult. Fast Electric Racing is mainly via NFERC membership. |

Venue: Paddy Freemans Lake, Jesmond Dene, Newcastle upon Tyne - A1 North and follow road as it crosses the river and climbs to the highest point, where you take the slip road signposted Ponteland, Kenton, etc. At roundabout take fourth exit (right) signposted A167. In 500yds at next roundabout take first exit (left). Follow road for half mile. At next roundabout take second exit (right) and in 300yds at next roundabout take first exit (left). In half mile get into left hand lane before traffic lights and turn right, and then in 20yds turn left at next set of traffic lights. Follow road until it descends hill and at bottom go over first mini roundabout, and immediately turn right at next mini roundabout. Climb hill and go straight over next mini roundabout. Pass hospital (on left) and watch for entrance on right just after the bowling greens. Enter car park. The lake and boathouse are in front of you. Refreshments, toilets and shelter available within clubhouse. |
Other Information: The lake is a modest sized ornamental lake (situated in an inner city public park) which requires thigh boots for wading in most areas. Chest waders are required for the central areas. The club has a clubhouse adjacent to the lake with all necessary facilities for competitors and families use only. Nearby parking and shops. |

Venue: Verulamium Park, St Albans. The park occupies the majority of the Southwest side of the town. Most popular access is via the Roman Museum Car Park.
