Venue: Poplar Farm, Holcot, Northants. Parking at pondside and nearby. Shelter available. A detailed map can be provided.

Venue: Balne Moor.-On the M62 take the exit at Jct.34 turning towards Doncaster on the A19. Continue through the village of Whitley, 300 yds. after leaving the village, turn left at the crossroads onto the unnamed road signposted for Balne, Pollington and Snaith. Continue along this road for approx.1 mile and watch out for the railway over bridge. The pond is in the first field on the right after the bridge, however, because of the roadside vegetation, the entrance is not readily visible so as you come under the bridge, indicate right and begin to slow down. The entrance to the field is gated and may be closed.

Venue: Gautby Lake, Gautby Road, Birkenhead, Wirral, Cheshire, CH41 7DT. ( Note: No post accepted at this address). The lake has parking nearby on Gautby Road and has a brick club house and toilet facilities which are shared with the Model Yacht section of the club and are available on regatta days. There are shops nearby. The lake is 560ft. long by 150ft. wide and 28 inches deep. ( Map ref.SJ293903). Nearest motorway junction M53 Jct. Follow A554 to Birkenhead. At first roundabout adjacent to Tesco Superstore take 2nd. exit left into Hoylake Road then turn down 2nd. road on left into Gautby Road. The lake is on the left prior to the bend in the road.

Venue: Oswaldtwistle Mills, Moscow Mill Street, Oswaldtwistle. From M65 J7 to Accrington onto dual carriageway, right hand lane to traffic lights, turn right at lights, sign posted Oswaldtwistle. Go to next traffic lights, go straight through, get into left hand lane and follow bend round to left through lights. Go under railway bridge, take the third left into Moscow Mill St. Go about 300yds. turn right into Pickup St. and into mill yard. Parking alongside lake. Refreshments and toilets inside the mills. Queens Park Lake, Queens Park Road, Blackburn. Disabled parking at pondside, other parking nearby, refreshments on regatta days, toilets, shelter, shops nearby. From M62/66 - follow Blackburn South, turn onto B6232, go about 4 miles to traffic lights, straight on to mini-roundabout, turn right into Shadsworth Road. At the third mini-roundabout turn left into North Road .* Follow the road round a tight right hand bend, take the next left then left again to the top of the road, the park is in front of you. From the M6 - follow the road to Blackburn, at the Moat House Hotel turn left on to the A6119. Follow the M65 signs round ring road . Caution speed cameras on ring road! At the M65 roundabout take the fourth exit left. Go on to next roundabout, MacDonalds and Red Lion Pub are on the left. Follow road to traffic lights, go straight on at traffic lights into Shadsworth Road, carry on up the hill to second mini-roundabout, turn right into North Road, then as above from *.

Other information: Sailing at Oswaldtwistle Mills, Saturdays, 12 Noon - 3pm..Queens Park Lake from April to October, Wednesdays 1.30pm - 3.00pm and Sundays 10.00am to 1.00pm.

Venue: Prince of Wales Pond, Blackheath. London Parking at pondside. Toilets, shops nearby. The pond is located on Blackheath, alongside the Princess of Wales Public House on Prince Charles Road. From the East, through the Blackwall Tunnel, continue along M102 until second exit. Turn right at roundabout, follow road to next roundabout, exit left, at end of road turn left. Turn first right at pub, park is on left. Park along this road.

Other Information: The club membership is very much into steam power, three or four members being leading lights on the subject. Meetings are held on the first Friday of each month from September to March in the Lewisham area.

Venue: Valley Pool, Bournville Located in Bournville Lane off A38 (Bristol Road South) out of city between Selly Oak and Northfield. Look for footbridge over dual carriageway and police building. Bournville Lane is a left turn immediately before bridge. Parking nearby, refreshments, toilets, shelter available and shops nearby (within ¾ mile including large Sainsbury’s).

Venue: Situated on Carnaby Industrial Estate, 3 miles from Bridlington. Turn off A614 onto Bridlington Bay Road, turn right onto Industrial Estate by John Bull Rock. After second roundabout look for kitchens of Sara Lee factory on right. Lake is opposite down small access road between Farmhouse Potato Bakers and Romech. 7 acre site, Pondside parking, refreshments, toilets, clubhouse, disabled facilities.

Other Information: Lake belongs to club and is locked when no members are sailing. Bring your boats on holiday but contact Ian Phillips first. Visit John Bull’s World of Rock only ten minutes walk away from lake.

Branston Water Park is situated on the northbound carriageway of the A38 just south of Burton, follow A38 Lichfield signs, Brown Water Park signs south of Burton, follow A38 to Walton/Barton flyover, exit left at Happy Eater, cross over bridge, turn right for Burton to rejoin the A38 north, approx 1 mile drift left into service road, signs for Branston Ind Estate, Branston Water Park, follow to end and turn left into water park at Leavesleys container depot, follow road into water park.

Venue: Easter onwards 65 acre water at Talkin Tarn, Brampton, Nr. Carlisle. On the second and fourth Monday each Month (excluding Bank Holidays). And on other special occasions using the pond at Upperby Park where there is a purpose built jetty designed for easy launching of model boats.

Venue: The Dome, Doncaster Leisure Park, Bawtry Road, Doncaster. Follow signs for Leisure Park or Multiplex Cinema. Access is via a “Dome roundabout” from the Bawtry Road (A638) opposite the racecourse. Once off the main road, turn left at the next roundabout and follow the service road to the rear of the complex and to the right hand side of the Camponile Hotel. From the A1/M18 there is now a Southern access to the Leisure Park from the second roundabout after exiting the M18 at junction 3. Pondside parking, extra parking nearby. Shelter, refreshments and toilets. Shops nearby. Bar meals and carvery in the Dome.

Venue: Wyken Slough - Leave M6 at J3, follow Bedworth, Longford signs for half a mile. After crossing canal bridge, turn left into Hurst Road, follow road round into Grange Road, turn right into Jackers Road, pool is opposite the end. Pondside parking.  Nauls Mill Park - From Coventry inner ring road turn into Holyhead Road, signposted for Birmingham. 100yds approx. at traffic lights turn right into Barras Lane, at cross roads, approx. 150yds, turn left into Coundon Road. After 100yds turn right into Middleborough Road. Nauls Mill Park with pool is on the left. Pondside parking for special events only otherwise parking in street nearby. Note: Middleborough Road is residents only parking, non-residents are liable to be prosecuted. City centre shops approx 1 mile.

Goldsmith's Leeisure Centre, Crowborough, Esast Sussex. A26 Tunbridge Wells to Crowborough, at Boarshead roundabout take second exit. After 1/2 mile turn right into Leusure Centre. Parking is free, toilets and cafe in leisure centre.

Venue: Mote Park Lake, Maidstone - From M20 J7 follow signs leading to Maidstone town centre - after third roundabout (Chiltern Hundreds Pub) bear left at third set of traffic lights (Ford Main Dealer on left). Turn right at next set of traffic lights, then first left onto Mote Avenue - Entrance to the park is straight ahead.

Venue: No 2 Reservoir, Middleton St. George Water Park. The club sails on the first of three lakes behind the village community centre. Middleton St. George is signposted off the A67 Darlington to Yarm. Access is also possible from the main A66 Darlington to Teesside via Sadburge. The community centre/lake access road is about halfway through the village. The clubhouse by the access steps to the lake has 2 toilets (inc. disabled), heating and refreshments are available. Parking is adjacent.

Other information: The club sails on Sunday mornings and Wednesday afternoons and evenings. Regular Steering and sailing regattas are held. Annual membership is £20.00 for Adults, £5.00 for Juniors which includes third party insurance cover. Access to the water is via uneven steps up and down a bank. Disabled access is difficult. Fast Electric Racing is mainly via NFERC membership.

Venue: Daventry Country Park. The park is located off the Welton Road, B361, half a mile from the town centre. The Country Park has parking, refreshments and toilets on site. Venue Riverside Gardens Boating Pond, Orpington, Kent.From M25 Northbound take Orpington turn off. About three miles down just past shopping centre, pond is on right by traffic lights into Kent Road. From M25 Southbound take A2 into London. Take Orpington turnoff.Follow for approx.2miles. At Kent Road traffic lights turn left and pond is immediately on right.

Venue: Thorpe Lea Model Centre, (formerly Crabtree Lake), Egham - From M25 North or South leave at J13 and follow signs A30 for Egham at roundabout under M25 (on A30) turn left into Egham, at next roundabout (Police Station) turn left, over level crossing and at next roundabout left, onto another roundabout, take 2nd. left. Entrance to lake is about half a mile on right (200yds. past open speed limit sign).

Venue: Poole Park, Poole

Venue: Needham Lake - From the A14 North or South, leave at the Beacon Hill services and follow signs for Needham Market on B1078. (Lake is also signposted on brown local information signs). Continue on B1078 past water mill on right hand side, lake is on right just before low railway bridge. Pondside parking, refreshments within one mile, toilets, including disabled, shops nearby.

Other information: Use of the lake is controlled by a local council permit system. Membership of the club gives priority use of the lake on Saturday and Sunday mornings in Winter, and Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings in Summer. Club night is at the Coombs Ford Bowls Club, Ford View Road, Stowmarket.

Venue: No.5 Coal Hoist Site Dutch Riverside, Goole. From junction3 M62 head towards Goole. At first traffic lights after passing Focus DIY turn right following signs foe Waterways Museum. At next traffic lights turn right. Next traffic lights turn right again. No.5 coal hoist is approximately 300 yards down Dutch Riverside

Venue: Sydney Park, Cleethorpes

Venue: Paddy Freemans Lake, Jesmond Dene, Newcastle upon Tyne - A1 North and follow road as it crosses the river and climbs to the highest point, where you take the slip road signposted Ponteland, Kenton, etc. At roundabout take fourth exit (right) signposted A167. In 500yds at next roundabout take first exit (left). Follow road for half mile. At next roundabout take second exit (right) and in 300yds at next roundabout take first exit (left). In half mile get into left hand lane before traffic lights and turn right, and then in 20yds turn left at next set of traffic lights. Follow road until it descends hill and at bottom go over first mini roundabout, and immediately turn right at next mini roundabout. Climb hill and go straight over next mini roundabout. Pass hospital (on left) and watch for entrance on right just after the bowling greens. Enter car park. The lake and boathouse are in front of you. Refreshments, toilets and shelter available within clubhouse.

Other Information: The lake is a modest sized ornamental lake (situated in an inner city public park) which requires thigh boots for wading in most areas. Chest waders are required for the central areas. The club has a clubhouse adjacent to the lake with all necessary facilities for competitors and families use only. Nearby parking and shops.

Venue: St. Edmunds College - take A10 North from Ware to Colliers End. Past main entrance of College, turn left to Old Hall Green, past the old pub on right. Pond down the hill in the trees on the left. Pondside parking, toilets, shelter.

Venue: SatNav Post Code HD1 5NG Highfields Pond, Huddersfield - exit M62 junction 24, take A629 towards Huddersfield. Approx two miles through two sets of traffic lights turn left before pelican crossing into Highfields. Do not go past crossing. The road is narrow and cobbled, at the end of the road bear left onto dirt road, turn right at end of long wall. Pond on right. Pondside parking, or nearby, refreshments, toilets, shelter. Venue: Herbert Park, Balls Bridge, Dublin 4.- 2.1/4 miles south of G.P.O. on the main road to Dun-Laoghaire. The park is situated between the American Embassy and the Bridge. There is car parking outside the park and there are toilets available.

Reedcar (Keighley) Tarn, 1.1/2 miles from Keighley centre. It is a man made moorland lake, approximately 5.6 acres, average depth of 2' 6" with sloping stone walls/mud banks. A purpose made landing stage.

Must be a member to use the lake for any i.c. craft. (local council rules)."

Venue: Kingsbury Water Park, Tamworth – Leave M42 at Junction 9. Take A4097 towards Kingsbury. At first roundabout turn left and the park is well signed. Shops, toilets, café and childrens playground on site. Extensive walks and nearby car parking. The park entrance fee is £3.00 or you can purchase a yearly pass at £36.00, if you hold a disabled badge you can obtain discount for the pass.

Venue: Wardown Park , Old Bedford Road , Luton , just north of Town center on the A6, car parking available within the park and adjacent to the lake. Sailing available any time, club sailing, most Sunday mornings during the season. Club meetings second Thursday of the month at the Community hall 8.00 pm , behind Warden Tavern, corner of A6 and Wycombe Way , Luton.

Venue: Child Beale Bird Park, Basildon, nr Pangbourne. - Exit M4 junction 12. Turn South along A4 towards Newbury. Straight over first roundabout, at second roundabout turn right towards Tidmarsh and Pangbourne (A340). In Pangbourne over mini roundabout, through a railway arch and straight on with the River Thames on your right. About three quarters of a mile uphill look out for signposts for Child Beale Wildlife Park. Turn right into park. Nearby parking, refreshments, toilets.

Venue:Although not a public amenity as we sail on land owned by farmers there is nothing to stop us having guests when we sail. From the M1 follow the A45 to the Earls Barton turn off (next junction after Billing Aquadrome) turn left and then left again into White's Nurseries. The pond is situated in the bottom left hand corner of the Earl's Barton Showground.

Venue: Orton Mere, Oundle Road, Peterborough. - From A1 North, take left A47 to Peterborough (Castor and Ailsworth Bypass), approx 3 miles to roundabout and underpass, turn right onto A1260 (Nene Parkway). On second turn-off go down to the A605, turn right, at next set of traffic lights turn right. Lake is on left. From A1(M)South, take right onto A1139 (Fletton Parkway) keep to left to Peterborough. At first flyover take a left onto Orton Parkway. At 2nd. roundabout turn right onto A605 (Oundle Road) strictly 30 mph, continue for approx 2miles, just before flyover at traffic lights turn left, lake is on left.

Venue: Canoe Lake, Southsea. Follow signs for Southsea Sea Front, and South Parade Pier. The club meets at the Canoe Lake on Sunday mornings in the winter and Friday evenings in the summer. Nearby parking, refreshments and toilets. NB Lake is SALT WATER.

Other information: The club meetings are held at 7.30pm on the first Tuesday of every month at the Baffins Community Centre, Westover Road, Copnor, Portsmouth.

Venue: Foxhills Pond, near Emery Down, Stoney Cross in the New Forest -From junction 1 M27 go west on A31 After two miles turn left (signposted Emery Down). approx 200yds. further on turn right into gravel road and car park. Lake 400yds. further on. Pondside parking available to club members (key-holders), nearby parking for visitors.

Venue: Southchurch Park, Southend on Sea. A127 to Southend follow tourist information signs for Sealife Centre on seafront, straight on past Sealife Centre towards Shoeburyness. Third of a mile on, turn left into Camper Road (Castle Pub on comer) lake and park at end of road. Special access to offload boats at Kensington Road entrance at west end of park. Map available from contacts. Parking nearby, toilets and cafe.

Venue: Verulamium Park, St Albans. The park occupies the majority of the Southwest side of the town. Most popular access is via the Roman Museum Car Park. (currently 50p all day but reviewed each tax year) This entrance is off the St. Albans to Hemel Hempstead Road near the traffic lights. From any direction follow the tourist information signs (brown) with a motif of a Roman Centurions helmet. From the car park, head east along the tarmac path then turn north down to the lake. Hydros however, keep straight on East across the grass.

Venue: Fairlands Valley Park, Six Hills Way, Stevenage, Herts, SG2 0BL.  Marine modelers always most welcome at 'The Club' Sunday morning and Thursday afternoon.

Venue: Mary Stevens Park Lake Stourbridge on the A451 Norton Lane - B4186 Heath Lane. Car Park and public toilets nearby.

Venue: Coate Water Country Park - M4 J15. Take A419 (Swindon by-pass) then A4259 west to Swindon. The entrance to the lake is adjacent to the Post House Hotel and the Sun Inn roundabout. Enter park, drive through public car park, and park adjacent to lake - all amenities for the family.

Venue: The Boating Lake, Victoria Park, Hackney. London E9 Entrance is via gates opposite “The Top of the Morning” pub just before St Marks Gate in Cadogan Terrace. Refreshments and toilets in clubhouse. Shops nearby. Parking: Security on gate. Produce M.P.B.A. card to gain entrance. Drive slowly through park to road besides one o'clock club/deer pens up to the pond side, unload and return cars to free car park.

After approximately 9 miles South on A326 to Hardley roundabout, take third exit for Holbury/Fawley.
