Andrew Aykroyd

Andrew (Drew) Aykroyd is a 2 time Junior World Champion, 4 time National Half-Hour winner and UK National Drivers Champion in the ‘Blue Riband’ 15cc class. Andrew has recently returned to racing after a few years off bringing up his young family.

Andrew lives in Lancashire with his stunning wife Louise and their children. His son has recently started learning to drive an electric boat and could be one to watch in the future! Andrew and Louise were married in 2016 at the famous Anvil Hall in Gretna Green and are planning their dream trip to New York for when Andrew can tear himself away from the boats! His boats are always immaculately painted thanks to Andrews job in car bodywork repair.

Andrew drives the latest Ikarus 2.3 in red/yellow designed by multiple world champion Dave Marles, with power supplied by a OS 2101. This class is the most competitive in the UK, with many potential winning boat/driver combinations.

For 2018, Andrew is adding the 7.5cc class with a Pegasus 2 built by Julian Waumsley and powered by a #DpTuned CMB45 RS.
