The 2 yellow + 1 white boat shot is from a club event that is not part of the MPBA Retro series, merely to illustrate the types of boat we expect to see in the Retro series. The first race at Brentwood on 22nd March was a great success. However, there remains a large group of people who have these old boats and like to talk endlessly about them and the halcyon days on Facebook, but appear too scared to jump in their car and come to a race even when this series has been created for them.

We realistically will let anyone race. If you are twice as fast as everyone else, a handicap system will be agreed. We want racing, not rules. The only point of contention so far has been plastic/metal props

Anti clockwise - Same as all multi racing. If the majority of participants want to change this then it won't be a problem. This is not so much about rules, it's about encouraging participation. Might we see you come out of the woodwork?
